Welcome to the Unofficial Website for the PA Class of 1983

This website was created to help our classmates stay in touch (or get back in touch), take a trip down memory lane and keep track of reunions and other news and events that may come up.  Our 20th reunion, held at the old P.A. building on 46th street was a smashing success and has inspired additional get-togethers and updates to this site.

bullet We have completed TWO Big Reunions this June celebrating the 25th Anniversary of our Class and the 60th Anniversary of the original School of Performing Arts ...  it seemed as everyone who attended had a wonderful time, reminiscing with old friends and sharing an afternoon with some of our favorite teachers and past faculty members

bullet John Steinmetz (PA Drama '51), Mark Fiore (PA Music '83) and Ken Kamlet (PA Drama '83)  have been working on documentary project, On 46th Street interviewing generations of PA grads and faculty.

In addition, this site has a "Where are we now" page (called Classmates) in which we can all contribute information about ourselves, classmates, friends of the class of '83 (such as PAers who graduated in '82 or '84), faculty members etc.

Hopefully you'll enjoy this site and keep in touch.  In addition to what you see here, please feel free to send suggestions, corrections, input, etc.  I am particularly interested in receiving more graphics and images of our school, classmates and faculty.  (Most of the images on this website are from our yearbook and I am told were photographed by Mark Fiore, Fred Mazart and Eric Klein)
