 | Many classmates enjoyed the two 2003 reunions (in April at our old school on
W. 46th Street and in early June at the "new" LaGuardia HS at Lincoln Center).
Please check out the Photo Gallery for images of the April event. I would
love to add pictures from other reunions if anyone has any to contribute
(email me at KKamlet@aol.com).

June 2008 Reunions:
 |
The 2008 reunions have been
completed and it seemed as everyone who attended had a wonderful time,
reminiscing with old friends and sharing an afternoon with some of our
favorite teachers and past faculty members.

VERY GOOD NEWS! The two
alumni associations ...
The Alumni & Friends
of LaGuardia H.S. (the "official" association) and the
School of
Performing Arts Alumni Association (formed to honor all of us who
graduated from the 46th Street building) are now working together ... this
includes holding both reunions on the same weekend so that more of us can enjoy
all the festivities

performing in the Reunion showcase, please visit their websites for more

Maggie Nieves, Class of 1984 wrote to tell us how well her Class of 1984
reunion went:
"Hey Ken, well our weekend is over and it was MAGICAL!!!! Bus and
Truck 83 met at Henry's Friday Night and the reunion was at the Old
Building with a nine act Cabaret Night and all with a HUGE - get down get
funky - dinner/dance that was held in the basement cafeteria. So far I
have gotten one album from a classmate David Medina and I updated my album
with 2 nested album with the pics if you care to see some old friends.
Abeson surprised Bus and Truck on Friday night..
With Kindest Regards,
Maggie Nieves

If anyone else knows of
other reunions and gatherings,
please email me and I'll post that information here. I will update this
site as new information comes in. There is discussion of a
possible West Coast reunion this fall. Please let me know if you are
interested in attending ... information will be posted here if it becomes
available.
2003 Reunions:
2 different organizations hosted our 20th Anniversary reunions. It is a good idea
to make sure both have your contact information for future events.

The School of Performing Arts
Association (a newly formed organization "for former faculty,
graduates and attendees of the SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS 120 West 46th St.
NYC 1948-1984"), held their annual gathering April 4 – 6 at the old P.A.
building on West 46th Street. It was a terrific success and the
turnout for the Class of '83 was much better than expected due largely to
the amazing efforts of Anthony Liccardo (Music, '83). Anthony
deserves a HUGE hand and a major thank you for all the time and energy he
devoted to rounding up our classmates. Dozens of alumni gathered at
P.A. and at other venues over 3 consecutive days. An especially
memorable evening was enjoyed at HENRY'S restaurant, hosted by our
own Henry Rinehart (Drama, '83) in which many of us ate, drank and caught
up until the wee hours of the morning.
Most classmates attending these gatherings seemed
to have an extremely enjoyable time ... warm & fuzzy feelings were
abound as we caught up, reminisced and rekindled old friendships.
